CICC donated RMB 2.14 million to typhoon disaster area in Taiwan
In August 2009, Taiwan was severely hit by Typhoon Morakot, with a death toll in hundreds. To support relief efforts in the disaster-hit area, CICC and its staffs contributed RMB 2.14 million to the disaster area through the Chinese Red Cross Foundation.

The Chinese Red Cross Foundation (CRCF) is a national public fundraising organization registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs. It is an independent non-profit NOG dedicated to disseminating the Red Cross spirit of humanitarianism, philanthropism and dedication, improving the conditions of the most vulnerable, monitoring and protecting people’s life and health, and advancing peace and development of the world.
