CICC Staff Donated RMB 690,000 to Debris Flow Disaster Zone in Gansu

The Zhouqu County in Gansu province, northwest China, was destroyed by the severe flood and debris flow disaster on August 8, 2010. To support the construction of Fengdiexiang New District Primary School in the disaster zone, CICC staff donated RMB690,000 through the Red Cross Foundation of China.

The Chinese Red Cross Foundation (CRCF) is a national public fundraising organization registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs. It is an independent non-profit NOG dedicated to disseminating the Red Cross spirit of humanitarianism, philanthropism and dedication, improving the conditions of the most vulnerable, monitoring and protecting people’s life and health, and advancing peace and development of the world.
