At the end of 2019, the Foundation and the Fifth, Sixth and Eighth Party Branches of CICC jointly launched an initiative, calling on company employees, especially party members, to donate RMB 1,000 each year to each of the 208 underprivileged students in Maxat Primary School in Suntag Township, Atux Shi City, Xinjiang, to help them complete their studies. After completing the initial fund raising, the Foundation set up a "scholarship project" which aims to encourage and help underprivilegedstudents who are striving for self-improvement and working hard under difficult circumstances to complete their studies.

At the beginning of 2020, a bursary of RMB 208,000 was transferred from CICC Charity Foundation to the Education Bureau of Atux Shi City, and later distributed by Maxat Primary School. With grateful hearts, the students who received aid sent thank-you letters to the sponsors to tell them about their learning progress.

Deeply moved by the simple handwriting and use of words, CICC employees also wrote replies to the children.
