Since 2013, CICC Charity Foundation has been supporting the Tibetan Maternal and Child Health Association in carrying out the Rural Doctor Training and Maternal and Child Health Project, which aims to comprehensively reduce the high maternal and infant mortality and congenital disability rate in Tibetan areas by improving the medical skills of rural medical personnel and raising the awareness of farmers and herdsmen in remote areas regarding maternal and infant health. From 2013 to 2020, a total of 71 training sessions for rural doctors were held, training 3,665 rural medical personnel who helped deliver more than 4,800 babies. This has effectively reduced the maternal and infant mortality rate in remote areas and helped protect lives and hopes.
