On August 26th 2011, Finance Office of Shan Dong Province and CICC jointly held the “Shandong Capital Market Financing and Innovation Seminar”, on which both signed strategic cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, both sides would cooperate fully with one another for the enterprise restructuring listed financing, refinancing for listed companies, M&As, domestic and offshore bond products, issuing of other financial products, financial service innovation, the construction of the capital market system, research on macroeconomics and policies, strategic research on industrial development, etc. The director of Finance Office of Shan Dong Province Li Yongjian and CICC managing director Han Weiqiang attended the seminar and gave a speech. The Chief Economist of CICC, Dr. Peng Wensheng and Chief Business Department personnel presented introductions about CICC’s business scope and shared their macro-economic outlook with attendees. There were more than two hundred representatives from provincial government units at all levels and various provincial enterprises.
