Qingdao Haier Co., Ltd. (“Qingdao Haier”) successfully completed its A-share private placement to KKR as strategic investor on Jul. 21st, 2014. It offered 302,992,994 shares at the price of RMB10.83/share, raising total proceeds of RMB3.281 Bn. The subscriber was KKR Home Investment S.àr.l., a wholly-owned subsidiary under KKR China Growth Fund L.P. CICC acted as Sole Sponsor, Lead Underwriter and Financial Advisor in the transaction.
