The third edition of Singapore Regional Business Forum (SRBF) hosted by Singapore Business Federation (SBF) was successfully held in the city-state on August 15, 2017. This year’s Forum focuses on seizing business opportunities through regional cooperation along the Belt and Road route, in particular the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. China International Capital Corporation Limited (CICC) acted as a special sponsoring organization in this event.

Dr. Chu Gang, Chief Operating Officer of CICC, shared his viewpoints in the session discussing “Concretizing ‘Belt and Road’ Projects”. Mr. Huang Zhaohui and Mr. Alex Zhao, Managing Directors at CICC, engaged in discussions on “Investment & Financing Opportunities under BRI”.

Around 600 top business leaders and senior government officials from over 40 countries and regions attended this year’s Forum. The discussions concentrated on bridging existing gaps to accelerate the concretization of Belt and Road projects. CICC, China’s first joint venture investment bank with its aim of “Chinese Roots, International Reach”, will continue to leverage its expertise and international strength to closely cooperate with the governments, institutions and companies in the region, facilitating the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative as well as the regional development.
