City of London Shares Success Story of CICC in London in Its Case Study
The City of London Corporation has featured CICC in one of its case studies profiling Asian businesses who have set up successful operations and benefited from London as the leading global financial centre.
The study, which is published on the City’s website in April, 2018, quotes Xinhan Xia, Chief Executive at CICC UK, as saying that CICC moved to London in 2009 and was the first Chinese firm to become a member of the London Stock Exchange (LSE). The city is very well placed between the Americas and Asia and CICC is able to conveniently service the EMEA region from here.
Mr. Xia also says that the City’s eco-system of professional services has been a great benefit to CICC.
As an investment bank with the vision of “Chinese Roots, International Reach”, CICC has actively ventured into overseas markets and has established subsidiaries in Hong Kong, New York, Singapore, London and recently San Francisco. Leveraging its extensive network and outstanding cross-border capabilities, CICC is well-positioned to provide all-round financial services to our clients.
