From July 4 to July 11, CICC Charity Foundation assisted the CICC Global Institute and the School of Public Policy and Management at Tsinghua University to conduct the research on “Rural Revitalization in the Digital Age”. The research teams paid visits respectively to 6 locations, including the Yuexi County of Anqing City, Anhui Province; Tianzhen County of Datong City, Shanxi Province; Xun County of Hebi City, Henan Province; Guzhang County of Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan Province; Lishui District of Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province and Lingwu City of Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Members of the research teams conducted surveys on the application status and the challenges faced by the local development of digital technologies such as the Internet and big data, and inquired into the impact and influencing mechanism of digital technologies on the rural revitalization campaign.
